A new quarter of 258 homes set within a rich green landscaped setting, to complete the Marlowe Road Estate regeneration project.

This new phase of the Marlowe Road regeneration area celebrates breathing space and green tree-lined streets, contrasting with the more urban character of the earlier phases.

Giving space to the street allows mature trees, pocket parks and play-on-the-way routes to enrich pedestrian movement through the neighbourhood. Breaks between buildings and allow glimpses of the green spaces beyond in the communal courtyards.

The distinctive facades frame and define the street, bringing quality and character to the new buildings which form a gateway between the existing and new neighbourhood.

The new buildings sit comfortably alongside the earlier phases, but also have their own identity. The red and buff hues of the proposed new buildings are seen to be complementary to the rich green setting of this phase. They are highlighted with white brick details and green glazed features on the galleries and block entrances, bringing a distinctive quality to the new buildings as a collection.
