In keeping with its village context the scheme has been laid out to celebrate variety of form and texture in the buildings and provide generous gardens for the family homes, merging with the green setting of the local countryside. The street layout has been designed to prioritise pedestrians and integrate biodiverse planting and trees throughout.

The scheme has been designed with a key sustainable agenda, optimising orientation and aspect, integrating of low-carbon technologies such as heat pumps and PV panels, and introducing flexible home working spaces in each house type.
