Planning permission has been granted for Stitch's proposal for a rural village extension in Ringmer, East Sussex.  The scheme will deliver 53 new homes which are designed to continue the established architectural language of the village.  Homes have been designed following passive design principles and contain dedicated home working spaces to allow for flexible lifestyles of residents.  The material palette picks up on the vernacular of brick, timber, hung tile and flint that is combined with contemporary detailing. The proposal creates a high quality street based layout that prioritises walking and cycling, alongside maximising street trees and creating varied street scenes.
